Data Wrangling and Preprocessing: Ability to clean, preprocess, and transform raw and messy data into a usable format. Experience handling missing data, outlier detection, and feature engineering. Proficiency in data wrangling tools like pandas, data manipulation, and data transformation techniques.

Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools and libraries. Ability to create clear and informative visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively.

Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific domain or industry relevant to the position. Understanding of business processes and context can help in formulating relevant data-driven solutions and driving impact within the organization.

What You Have 

• A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the banking sector and 5 years of general experience in banking are required.
• Knowledge of Russian and English languages at a conversational level
• Experience in creating and managing sales processes, including cross-selling mechanics, customer targeting, and other related areas.
• Experience managing direct and digital campaigns (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of banking products

Main responsibilities:

• End to end design and delivery of machine learning models across different fields (credit scoring, antifraud scoring, income estimation, risk-based pricing, soft collection scoring, anomaly detection, data segmentation, etc.) through all phases of development: from design to training, evaluation, validation, and deployment. Ensure the designed machine learning model brings business value.
• Closely partner with credit risk portfolio manager, soft collection manager and antifraud manager to improve current retail loan products (Cash Loan, POS, Car Loan) through ML solutions.
• Process and analyze large and complex datasets from various sources to get new insights and features: loan book, credit history report, tax report, debit card transaction reports, mobile payments, etc.
• Interpret and communicate complex ML solutions and results in clear and comprehensive way to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.

Main requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience with at least 1 deployed classification model.
• Excellent Python skills: pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, OOP, Flask or FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency in traditional ML for classification tasks: XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, Random Forest, Logistic Regression.
• Strong SQL skills: joins, sub queries.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex solutions in English or in Russian.
