About the company and project:
ZONE3000 is proud to represent its partnership with Namecheap (www.namecheap.com). Namecheap was founded in 2000 on the idea that all people deserve value-priced domains delivered through stellar service. Today, Namecheap is a leading ICANN-accredited domain name registrar and web hosting company with over 12 million customers and 17 million domains under management — and we’re just getting started.
Our culture is built on the values that we live every day: the way we work, the way we collaborate with our global network of colleagues.
You will have the opportunity to work on the development of one of Namecheap’s products. This product encompasses all of the systems and components that maintain SSL certificates distributed by Namecheap, including a separate SSL-specific website, as well as SSL integration into larger systems. The team is continuously working on improving the services that handle the life cycle of certificates, which includes both supporting and refactoring legacy code, as well as finding approaches to incorporate the latest technologies for building new features, such as the two-click SSL installation. The team also maintains internal and external API interconnections and works to extend their functionality. By building both the back-end and front-end components of the system, we aim to simplify certificate management and continuously improve the user experience with the SSL product. Your team is not isolated, so you will communicate with Architects, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and other teams to ensure that your application is integrated within the Namecheap ecosystem. As a leader, you will manage and motivate your team, and you will be deeply involved in resolving any issues that arise.
