About the role:

We are looking for a visionary Head of Data Science to lead the global science teams in developing cutting-edge algorithms and models that drive advertising effectiveness. This pivotal role reports directly to the Executive Chairman/CPTO and is crucial in advancing the patented technology and enhancing the data-driven advertising solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science, with a strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
• Proven track record of leading data science teams and delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
• Experience in digital advertising technology or related fields is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams across different locations.

As a plus:

• PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Quantitative Social Sciences, Bio-Statistics, Statistics, or other technical fields with a strong focus on mathematical optimization.)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a global team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Ensure the data science team is aligned with the company’s strategic goals and product roadmap.
• Drive research and development efforts in data science, machine learning, and AI to enhance advertising outcomes across various platforms.
• — Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data science models and algorithms into the product.
• Define and execute the data strategy, ensuring the effective use of data in driving advertising optimization and innovation.
• Explore and implement new data sources, methodologies, and technologies to advance the company’s data capabilities.
• Work closely with other departments, including engineering, product management, and sales, to ensure the successful implementation and communication of data-driven solutions.
• Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and collaborations, showcasing our data science expertise and innovations.

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join a dynamic team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• Commercial experience developing Spark Jobs using Scala and Java- Experience in data processing using traditional and distributed systems (Hadoop, Spark, AWS — S3) and designing data models and data warehouses.
• Strong understanding and application of data structures and algorithms in building efficient solutions.
• Experience in SQL, NoSQL database management systems (PostgreSQL and Cassandra).
• Commercial experience using messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka).- Experience using orchestration software (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt).
•  Confident with building complex ETL workflows (Luigi, Airflow).- Good knowledge working cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and using monitoring software (ELK stack).
• Motivated problem-solving skills, ability to bring ideas forward and adapt solutions to complex challenges.

Nice to have:

• Experience of working with Python.

Responsibilities:

• Understand distributed technologies and the best practices around them.
• Build and maintain services/features/libraries that serve as a definitive examples for new engineers.
• Design and write effective complex Spark jobs (data processes, aggregations, pipeline), complex asynchronous, highly parallel low latency APIs and processes.
• Work as part of an Agile team to maintain, improve, monitor the company’s data collection processes using Scala and Java.
• Apply industry practices such as TDD and SOLID.- Understand and be able to apply data structures and algorithms.
• Understand the company’s data architecture and use appropriate design patterns.
• Design and implement databases for relational and non-relational storage technologies.
• Support the Data Science team to help deliver their machine learning models in to production environments
